Mornington, famous for Pinot. But there are some seriously good cool-climate Shirazes grown here as well. Blueberries and violet jump out at you. Raspberry and plums ride shotgun. Savoury, with white pepper and brown cooking spices on the finish. Elegant, complex and savoury. A Shiraz that a Pinot drinker will enjoy.

Really enjoying this. Violets and dried herbs on the nose, blueberry, blackberry and cherry fruit, silky, lithe and generous in the mouth, soft rounded tannins, gentle creaminess in the background, pretty long. Very enjoyable cool Shiraz.

As the evening gets darker so does our wine. Beautiful Shiraz- this is Australian. Deep eggplant color and plummy nose. I probably killed half the bottle myself. (Sorry, neighbors!!)

Jul 8th, 2017After receiving 97 points from Halliday, tgis shiraz is the perfect example of a cool climate shiraz. So smooth and delicious with a lovely white pepper finish. The perfect bbq red!
