Listen up!
Foie gras topped home made burgers and fries, gangster style.
Rivers Marie cab is an excellent compliment. Rich and dense, but not overly done.

Started off pretty one dimensional and gloppy for the first two hours or so. I was beginning to expect little else. But then things changed. Airtime really did wonders. More personality, aromatics, and nuance. Glad I have more to sit on! Good stuff TRB.

Some recent Friday bottles...

Was only able to have this at pop and pour (and I heard it opened up more later in the evening, as expected), and while it has TRB’s signature ability to pull the entire fruit spectrum (red, blue and black) for these wines, it is tightly coiled, more so than the others in this lineup. Coming from some of Larkmead’s choice fruit, after the sweet and pure fruit notes on the nose, it is decidedly savory with graphite and crushed rock on the palate followed by potpourri and violets. Like many ‘15s, it is uber concentrated and hasn’t developed complexity yet. There is no doubt that this will unfurl and express beautifully in the next 2-3yrs. Thanks for opening

Let's get this back on track...warm chocolate ganache and fig on the nose. It's youth gives it a wild side with vibrant acidity-focused mouthful of French Roast Espresso, rock crushed blueberry and toasted oak. Back of the palate I get this vanilla and lavender notes. I like em' young and this one fits the bill!

Was not as nice as the Panek. But a very close second place. Still a great value at the price point
