Wow, quite the wine to taste next to their Jaspe. Waxy, wild, floral, exotic fruit, with a weighted, silky, buttery finish. Unbelievably pure and luscious, the pollen like spices take me straight to the region that this is made.

2nd time around for the 08. honeyed and golden. a little bit waxy. a lot of wilted flowers. provence herbs. fennel. not quite delicious any more but fun to try.

found a $31 bottle of 11 year old hauvette blanc so took a flier on it. drinking wonderfully! very provence flavor profile, sage, fennel, lemon rind, floral. really fun and unique bottle. happy i found this one.

Yesterday was the festivus pole and today the Christmas tree. Waxy lemons with lots of body. Very white Burgundy-ish.
