Oak influence, less cherry brightness, slightly atypical. Could come around after a few years, but this one is for the brooding Barolo fans.

A very solid vintage, but even at this level, it can use some time...or a nice slab of beef.

Great buy on a restaurant list under $45. Love it, 4 sites, primarily La Morra, 15 day maceration, great color, texture, anise, dark red, a bit of wood...good for a bunch of different weights and textures of food.
