National Sales Grapes of Spain

Originally intended for a blind tasting vs. Spain. Alas forgotten in the cellar. Surprisingly pale and brisk, no doubt Thanks to the screw cap. Vaguely varietal, but missing the peachy floral note great Albariño has.

Lemon custard, floral (rose hips) and grapefruit oil on the nose. Tropical fruits with an medium grapefruit and acidic finish. Decent! Good value!

A smidge weird but interesting and tasty. MedIum minus concentration of Pale straw yellow with gray hue and a wide water white rim. Restrained white floral and white peach. Medium plus acidity, medium plus bitterness, a hint of astringency and alcohol with a noticeable heat at 13.5% light body, smooth texture, simple complexity - $21 hmmmmm?
