Single vineyard assyrtiko with 18 months (!) of lees stirring in stainless steel. Great depth and the less have mellowed the high acidity yielding a wonderful rich, opulent but still agile wine. Citrus with toast and incredibly good

Intense aromas of peach, quince and flint. Kerosene reduction influenced. On the palate it’s dry, high acidity that is well balanced and refreshing. You’d swear it was a Riesling sometimes, but it’s #assyrtiko #santoriniwines #santorini #greekwines

Minerals, apples, salinity, dry and clean but with a tang. Stood us remarkably to grouper with chorizo and a chocolate infused olive oil.

Let's just guess and say some of the vines in this single vineyard are ...(not kidding) 300 years old!!! Still producing under extreme conditions. Much like the Greeks themselves. Powerful and intense if you're in Greece, as this is not available in the states, spend your euros and drink it COLD!

Old vines, high elevation, single vineyard. Mineral city. Saline suburbs. Sunny with a 100% chance of citrus essence. Yowsa. Hand carried back from Santorini by @Christine Wallin , thanks for sharing!
