Les Sétilles Bourgogne Chardonnay

Not the best expression of this wine/vintage, bit dull.

Paired well with smoked perch as part of an outdoor fall dinner with a master chef way out in an old Swedish forest. Mushrooms (chantrelles) for the sauce accompanying the venison filé main course was hand picked by us guests in the afternoon. Amazing experience at Asa Herrgard.

Minor differences compared with the -19. Didn’t gain much with 5 years.

Fun to try for something completely different than what I’m used to, but high acidity and mineral taste is a no for me.

Nice entry level Bourgogne. Had a glass and have been using the rest for cooking.

Some subtle charm. Lemon pith and curd, light spice and floral aromatics. Mouth watering acidity. A touch expensive but decent chard.

At this price point I’ll take a chablis over this wine any time.

Pears, peaches, apricots. Effervescent to taste.

Nice tart lemon and minerality.
