Great minerality and a nice middle ground between super low alcohol mosel and more full bodied Riesling.

Had the 2012. Classic. Floral, ripe citrus and stone fruit with pronounced minerality. Off dry but so perfectly balanced it approaches dry especially when well-paired.

Being from the the Rheingau, fruit and flowers are the stars here. You still get that signature petrol and minerality, but they take a supporting role. Ripe melon and a plethora of lovely florals come through - elderflower, honeysuckle, hibiscus and ginger all present. Not as much acid on the palate as I would expect. It's playful but doesn't possess that razor sharp precision you would get from a top Mosel Riesling.

Yes. So good and just plain fun to drink.

Really smoky, petrol forward notes then bright white peaches, orange oil and gravel. Perceptible sweetness but the acid total masks that this wine sits at around 40g/l residual sugar

Happy birthday to me. Sweet, minerally and perfectly acidic to match spicy food.
