From my daughter’s birth year case in the cellar, and both are showing well at 27 years old. I put a lot of my career into the Martini Winery and have opened a lot of older wines, and this one was a complete pleasure, soft and rich with a wonderful texture, the bottle bouquet blew off in a half hour to reveal a classic NV Cab nose and at 13.5% alcohol still aging well. Happy Birthday Hannah!

Enjoying this vintage on christmas eve. Leather cedar berries and apples on the nose. As soon as it hits the palatte, fruit platter spread out on an oak cutting board. Theres a richness thats coats the mouth. Long finish.

2005 vintage opened Sept 2020 and aired for one hour. Beautiful deep red with intense smells of black cherry, coffee and ? Chocolate. Low tannins, very dry, fills the mouth with the cherry and coffee, remaining intense. Perfect for pan seared boneless top sirloin seasoned with rosemary and shallots. If found and carefully stored suggest buying. No idea of cost. My wife who doesn’t drink reds was impressed.
