Decanted for about 45 minutes. A youthful bouquet of violet and blueberry. More black and blue fruits on the palate with graphite, and dried herbs. Mouth watering acidity and tannins at this stage but enjoyable with food. Drank with chipotle pasta and chicken. 100% mazuelo. No rush to drink and could definitely use a few years to mellow out.

Really nice red fruits, some leather, and a very dry palate make this wine a good one for food pairing. Love the vibrant acidity and strong tannins to match!
