Top Notes For
Sipping Fine Wine

Medium lemon with aromas of honey, bruised apple fruit with toasty oak notes. On the palate ripe apple, vanilla and toasty oak flavors, extremely savory on medium+ finish ending with fruit and smoky spice character.

Big luscious Bevan as usual. Very round, tropical nuances, and plenty of French Oak, but nothing was overdone.. very well balanced, acidity on point, not too ripe for the fruit either, and though the alcohol is usually high for Bevan wines, it didnt come off hot. Well done.

On the nose; green apple, lemon, lime, underripe pineapple, cream, buttered popcorn, volcanic minerals and yellow florals. On the palate; green apple, pineapple, lime candy, buttered popcorn, cream, honeycomb, chalky minerals, nice acidity, decent oak influence, hot on alcohol but a decent finish.

2018 vintage. Big nose, big mouthfeel. Medium-heavy body. Gratuitous oak/butter/cream flavors/vibes with just enough acidity to maintain order in the court...er...glass. Rolling outta bed today, had zero idea I’d be assaulted by three, over the top, California chards like it was 1996. Life is funny sometimes. 11.15.23.

Celebrating my Mom’s birthday 👏🏻

This is her favorite Chardonnay (or at least one of her top choices) so we pulled the cork on it to pair with a grazing board replete with cheeses, cured meats, nuts, fig spread, and olives. Solid choice.
