Can’t go wrong with this wine. Fun, sophisticated, super drinkable. Hope I have more.

Great wine. Initially very meaty showing it’s Syrah core but opened up much more readily than the cote rotie. Great density and dark ref fruit

Intensely tart green and yellow fruit. Searing mineral/acid complex. Pineapple and coconut, intense and energetic wine, with complex salinity on finish. Finely detailed fruit and mineral flavors. Really nice. One of the more interesting 2020s.

Very nice wine. Maybe a little young still but easy to drink, nice layers of flavor. Should be stunning in a few years.

Relief after a first corked bottle. Really pretty. Needs 24 hours to really start showing. Very floral, delicate, but round and with fierce 2019 minerality, and generous fruit. Mellow citrus and yellow plum. Long savory aftertaste, a little bit buttery. Orange oil phenolics.

The only way this wine could be better is if it were Italian

Great purity and freshness here. On the crisp and floral side of things, round texture, bright and some nice tension giving it dimension. Apricot, crushed rock, citrus peel, pear and herbs.

Besides Clape, who makes a Syrah based CdR this good? (Purchased from a restaurant list.)
