This Grenache-based wine has a lovely, light pink hue, very Provençal. The nose carries aromas of sweet grapefruit, lemons and ripe strawberries. The palate brings an acidity that is fresh and lively. Red fruit and citrus notes come through nicely. When I think of rosé, this is the sort of wine that is in my thoughts. This is what I want in my glass all summer.

Some reduction on noise initially...then mellows with red berries, lavender and tart oranges..long salty, saline finish...paired well with salmon Kati rolls...

A tad reduced initially, opening into very herbal aromas. Melon, strawberry, stone fruit. Very mineral-forward with fruit pushed to the back and showing + acidity. Somewhat edgy and cerebral expression of Rosé.

This wine has a pretty salmon pink color. Its nose is subdued to the point of being nearly absent. The flavor is all there, though. Strawberry, cherry and lemon notes are delicious, while the acidity is as fresh as you would expect from the south of France. Pair with seafood, pair with salad, pair with a ham sandwich. Or a quiche. You will have no worries.

The Nestos are, once again, incredibly generous.

Thank you Chateau La Gordonne and Tide PR for this tasting sample of the La Chapelle Gordonne Téte de Cuvée 2020 Rosé - what a treat 😋

If you’re looking for an extra special rosé - look no further. This French beauty is a stunner 🤩

In the glass it’s a pale salmon colour. Juicy red berries, crunchy red apples and fresh lemongrass come through on the nose. The palate is so elegant and luxurious. Plentiful red berries and juicy watermelon makes this rosé super refreshing and moreish.

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!
