Excellent P. Sirah. Nice jammy flavor with a blackberry nose. Bold but not arrogant.

In my opinion, this is the best moderately priced petite sirah on the market. You can't lose with this wine!

Nicely aromatic on the nose and full bodied on the pallate with prodiment flavors of blueberry jam along with black tea and hints of cocoa from the 14 months spent in American oak. Med-high tannins helped this pair extraordinary well with sage brown butter strip steaks and roasted garlic potatoes. Finally, worth noting that this wine was as good (if not better) on day two! ($9) [9/22/17]

Affordable, dependable, easy to find. What’s not to like? Reminds me of the old Italian/American brands from the North Coast and Central Valley from the 1970s, cheap, good value, but this has better fruit. Purple-red, highly extracted pigment. Jammy and minty notes in nose with a hint of funk. Raspberry, cherry and spearmint flavors in mouth, tart berry-ish finish on initial pour. Caught somewhere with a limited selection of wines? This will save the rest of your day. Tannins emerge after 45 minutes, fruit flavors meld after 60.

A little peppery but has a beautiful dark purple color, full bodied, full of fruit and so smooth! Great wine from the local grocery store.

Pinky color with lots of Garnet undertones and a fresh taste at start then just faded into a nutty, fruit farm with not much acid
