Diggity dang...best value at Trader Joes that I have found yet! Dark and rich nose with a somewhat muddled but very minerally and dense palate. Dark and robust and perfect for the cold season.

Kinda full and jammy and sticks to your palette. Hints of vanilla and plums. Good find!

The oak barrel aging gives this red a dry, oaky finish. The fruit balances it out nicely.

Bright and tart red fruit, somewhat one dimensional, which mellowed out with time in the glass. Got some leather and spice towards the end and the sharpness softened, making this a nicely balanced drink with a grilled tri-tip. At $9 a bottle, this was very enjoyable.

Smoother, more red fruit forward than other Chiantis I have tried. Very enjoyable on the palate.

Deep dark opaque purple color and medium bodied. Sour red cherry and soft leather notes leading to a medium tannic finish. Nothing complex, but a great value every day drinking Chianti.

Diggity dang it's a soft hitting chianti (which is a good thing). Dry but dank, and the value is apparent
