2009. A blend of Caiño Redondo, Caiño Longo, Brancellao, and Ferrol according to my friend Chris. Lean, dark fruit with firm tannins and refreshing minerality. We had it with beef-stuffed bell peppers, but this vintage would've paired better with steak frites in retrospect.

From the 2010 vintage, aromatically rich showing blackberries, rasberries, floral notes, roasted meats, & spices. Silky mid bodied wine with black cherries, raspberries, an acidic midpalate with notes of licorice, dark chocolate and a long finish filled with chewy tannins, black pepper, and crushed stones.

Tiny hint of Bret. Smoke and smoked sausage. Baking spices and nutmeg . Cassis , earth, dusty notes, medium acidity , good amounts of fruit, some cherry cola , spice and pepper notes. 12.5% a perfect easy drinking wine.
