Nice skin contact Rebula from Slovenia.
The skins bring so much here in texture, dryness and structure.
Ideal with asian food.
Very good value, quite affordable for an orange wine from this part of the world.

Cool wine. Fermented with the skins. Citrus peel, toasted nuts, waxy, honeyed, slightly oxidative, mildly tannic, with nice acid. Fun on its own, but shines with food.

Bright but deep salmon orange in color. Abundant nose of orange rind and terra cotta. Firm acidity supports the medium palate of orange rind, pottery, and brown spices. Soft tannins on the lengthy finish. A classic “orange” wine that’s a perfect foil for heavier “white wine” foods. Roasted chicken, mushroom risotto, game fowl, and root vegetables would compliment nicely. Drink by 2024.

Orange peel, powder sugar, apricot jam, apple sauce, savory minerality. Full malo, 30-day skin contact, 2 years in barrel, rich and delicious. Elevated acidity and drying tannins.

Amber color wine. Popularized hundreds of years ago due to belief in alchemy. 30 day skin contact. Oranges, salt, menthol, high acid, some dairy (spent year on lees full ML), basil. #slovenianwine

This is an interesting one. Orange wine with extensive skin contact but without the expected strong oxidative notes. Smells like woody apple, floral, and a bit alcoholic. Like a strong liquor. Tastes like apple juice but not cidery. Good acids with bitter savory finish. Dry and tannic. I am usually not much of a "would go well with" person but would pair great with aged cheese.
