Grenache-Gris, Verdejo, and Albariño. Delicious, peaches and cream, hints of lime, little fatty up front but otherwise supple and sensual.

Light, tart nose with slight olive briny minerals. Medium body, good drying acid, very mild lemon and young blossoms. Not bad, but not much going on with this wine. Delicate.

Winemaker notes: All three varieties of grapes in the Field Blend are grown in Suisun Valley. The dry farmed King vineyard brings us beautiful old-vine Grenache Blanc, with the delicate Albarino and Verdelho growing in the adjacent Babcock Vineyard. The trio were gently pressed together, and fermented as one wine. Total elevage is 10 months in neutral french oak.

Blend: 37% Grenache Blanc, 37% Albarino, 26% Verdelho

Olive, tropical, burnt pineapple, passion fruit. Medium plus acidity and body. Long finish. This was great.

Slightly waxy, lanolin fragrance, with white flowers and pineapple. Not surprisingly, oily mouthfeel. Flavors are Asian - flowers, tea, maybe a little green papaya? Interesting.
