This time it’s very spritzy, simple, lean and hard. Not improving in bottle?

Bit simple, dilute. Oak sticks out. Decent quaff.

Our French sommelier thought corked, we thought Gevrey that just needs some air. Give it a few hours to bloom.

Totally delicious. Cherries, mushroom, lots of red fruit in great balance and long finish. Lots of structure, would be interested to try an older vintage but this one blew the table away

One of the few ‘affordable’ burgh producers left and sometimes this winery makes
good wines. This is one of them. 12.5%. Blackberry nose, tart cranberries and lime.
It's young and needs a couple of years to soften up. Not a long term cellar keeper.
Nicely done but not very complex. At 60$ including tax not worth it. Its a 30$ wine.
And even at that price no match for the 2018 Pinot Noir from E&M Baden in Germany
- not even close.

really good for the price. Better than 2015. Keeps me away from the stuff that needs aging time.
