Syncline is one of my all time favorite producers. This wine is crisp and refreshing , with elements of citrus on the palate.

Hint of white grapefruit/pith. Palate rounding out and missing a bit of focusing acidity.

Little too much acid for hubby, perfect for me. Excellent.

One of my absolute favorite Washington producers. Dedicated to austerity and subtlety. The harsher skin notes come through to balance out a delicate and beautiful white fruit statement. To call it a guzzler is to do it a disservice. Serious wine.

Best domestic Grüner I've ever had. Lots of green, ripe citrus and orchard fruits, lees influence, and varietal savories (lentil, radish, parsnip, pea purée). 12.7% alcohol puts this in ripe, clean federspiel territory. Similar to Prager or FX in style. There's something special in the Columbia Gorge, I think. Anyone know if this is loess over decomposed basalt in the vineyard?

Syncline is a producer a really enjoy but this was a little too acidic for me. Nothing strong on the nose but crisp apple and citrus to the taste

Killer domestic Gruner. I love what's coming out of Columbia Gorge. 2014 holds up beautifully Great acidity with lots of minerality. Good late spring wine.
