Whole bunches from @Heimbourg, natural yeast and aging for 18 mo in alsacian oak; clear greenish-yellow color with some viscosity; nose of red and yellow citrus, quince, peaches, wax, honey, and a smoking minerality; powerful yet elegant taste with a minor spritziness, peach, red grapefruit, and pineapple with medium acids and low alcohol. Oliver is a veritable wizard and I love of this wine.

The Zind Humbrecht Heimbourg Riesling kicks it off on all cylinders, ripe and powerful fruit with a deep complexity, balanced by an invigorating crushed stone minerality and a well dosed portion of kerosene. Wonderful interplay on the palate where the ripe, slightly honeyed fruit is pierced by its stony core and invigorating acidity that is lasting through the long finish. A wonderful act by a mastermind producer that makes your night worthwhile. Applause!

Massive, super-ripe, block-buster nose revealing acacia honey, partly dried tropical fruits and spice elements. Exotic on the palate with acidity balancing the RS, in this off-dry and powerful version.

Tightly wound and bone dry style for ZH. Feels like it needs a few more years to settle into itself
