Took a good while to open up to dry tannin plums. Cigar box. Pepper and figs.

Nice nose but drying tannins. Good with BBQ beef or stew. SS

Simple and drinkable. Tart raspberry and sage aromas.

Very tight, dry, high acid. Berries are absolutely delicious. Would love to be able to let this sit and breathe for a couple of hours. But I'm in a restaurant...

Rustic - round and full - just trying to suss out where the 170k acres of Merlot, in Boedeaux, goes each year!

Stinky and a little tight. Put the cork back in and came back on 2nd day. Much better. Smoother and more balanced. The 3rd day or decanting second day would be perfect

Dark fruited, maybe a touch cherry. Good acidity and tannin. Lovely savoury finish. Opened up nicely during the night.

Nose: caramel nose, almost dried raisins, chalkiness, minerality, dried plum, very nice nose, tobacco. Mouth: medium high body, soft well balanced tannins, velvety, very well balanced, good wine 8.5/10
