Medium ruby red. Slightly jammy on the nose with notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and bramble berries. Moderate tannins (6/10) and low to medium bodied. Lots of red cherries and red currants on the palate. Slightly green in the medium finish. Easy to drink, not too complex but not too singular. Drink till 2020

This 2010 beauty is 75% Cab 15% Syrah and 10% Petite Sirah. Smooth, medium to full-bodied with a nice long finish. From Tuck Beckstoffer's 75 Wine Company.

The Seventy-Five Wine Company was founded to perpetuate and honor the inspiration of the landmark year, 1975 (Gates founded MSFT; first epidode of SNL debuted, Sakharov received Nobel prize & Beckstoffer family started wine making). About 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Petite Syrah and 10% Syrah, with sweet dark fruit aromas. Flavors of cherry and dark berry fruit, soft spice with mineral tones, good balance on fine tannins. Medium finish ending with earthy spice notes. Tasting Sample.

At <$20, I find this to be a quite drinkable California Cab (blend). Made by Tuck Beckstoffer's 75 Wine Co. It's sweet and smokey, and very fruit forward. But it's not half bad for a daily drinker
