Big Nose Full Body Wine Sales in Brooklyn. “May I finish that Riesling?”
Still seems like a baby. Citrus, apricot, cranberry, and sandalwood. High toned with structure and length. Better on day two. So juicy. — 11 days ago
100% Syrah showing opaque purple in the glass. Inky and aromatic with pepper and pomegranate. Killer pairing for ribeye au poivre in Torrey, Utah. 14.5% abv. but not hot. — 18 days ago
Definitely bigger for Burgundy as many tasters note, but it’s so easy to get along with right out of the gate. Delicious, quaffable, and insanely palate pleasing. At Liar Liar. — 5 days ago
Bigger name. Easy drinking. Approachable if not a bit uninteresting. — 18 days ago
This bottling is actually the SLO Coast. I was impressed by the restraint here. Lots of apples. Maybe neutral oak, and it wears it well. — 20 days ago
I’ll be incredibly pleased if I can perform like this at 41. Fully saturated cork and somm said, “I think it’s ok.” Faint funk right out of the gate that blew off quickly. This opened beautifully over 2 hours. American oak led the charge but air added weight and dimension with red berries, eucalyptus, tilled earth, and spice box revealing themselves in the glass. Bottle said “Selection 45%” meaning less than half of this Montebello vintage made it into this bottling. The rest went toward Santa Cruz Mountain Cabernet. 13.1% abv and it showed in how refreshing and approachable this was. Don’t know that I’d store a ton longer, but this was the perfect accompaniment to dinner at Keen’s. — 11 days ago
Quite polished with judicious oak. — 18 days ago
