Awwwww love this brewery's style of slight effervescence, sweet honeydew taste that changes as it slides thru your finish. Higher alcohol taste and better fit with yakitori — 7 years ago
Annual Man Cave dinner. 80+ wines accompanied by zebra, oryx, buffalo, bison and any other African meat you can imagine.
My first time with this wine. It surprised me with how open it was. Very ripe and sweet fruit (red, black and blue) with some coconut/dill that I normally get with American oak wines. Finish showed more licorice, baked fruit pie and nutmeg. Impressed for the price point! — 8 years ago

I’m scoring this based on QPR. Think this is $35’ish/bottle? Astounded. It’s got ripe and crisp apple notes, but also more of the toasted brioche, hazelnut and similar toffee notes to what I get with Roederer’s L’ermitage. Simply more chalk and limestone. — 8 years ago

Wild and untamed. Red berries, a glou drinker that is fun and tasty, not for contemplation. — 3 years ago
This was in a zebra wine club at Bar & Garden in Culver City CA Oct 2017. Fantastic Italian white- citrus, sage-pine. Medium to full bodies. Had while cooking Lobster Tartine and Mussels and Clams. — 7 years ago
Slightly less sweet than hummingbird wings, yet egret fruit notes are detectable but lacking zebra like bite — 8 years ago

Didn’t even know FA made this wine. Stewed raspberries and blackberries. Tomato and bloodied meat with pepper and vegetal/herbal notes on the finish. Drink up! — 8 years ago

Really nice Nebbiolo from WA. Really good with a Pork Bolognese for dinner. Really brought out the spiciness. — 8 years ago

Zebra Crown Amity Hills Oregon! Another Siduri single vineyard Pinot. Excellent, bold wine...full-bodied, full flavor dark fruit, thick on the tongue, lasting palate, big finish Pinot. 14.2 % alcohol...<14% like most Siduri's. One of the better Siduri's and not a Russian River. Amity Hills is within the Oregon wine country, Willamette Valley. Wine is among best in class for aficionados of the full & deep Pinot. Noir. — 7 years ago

I bought some of these earlier this year but have been holding them. Luckily, someone brought a bottle so that I could check in on them. The nose on this blew me away...reminded me of a Sami-Odi wine in the way it was heavy, without being overbearing. Floral (violets, lavender) but also fruit (ripe, fresh squeezed blackberries) and smoked meat (mainly peppered strip). Love the low ABV (<13%). This is likely best enjoyed over the next 5 years. Wonderful bottle from @Arden Barnett . — 8 years ago
