Aroma is petrol, almond, lemon peel, grapefruit and sea breeze minerality. Very pretty.
Acidity really hits you off the bat. Lots of lemons and limes mixed with some of those almond paste notes and steely minerality. Really dry and refreshing.
I really love the razor acidity and refreshing nature of this wine. Perfect on a hot day by its own or with seafood or salad. — 6 years ago
Find more! This is the bone dry zippy acidity I like. — 2 years ago
So much flavor wrapped up in a bright, almost too easy to drink package. No mistaking this for anything but Riesling with an exuberant nose of tangerine, petrol, and pool toys. Great body with supple fruit and mouth watering acidity. Delicious now but sure to cellar well for at least a decade.
More info: the Tesch single plot wines are always spatlese trocken (usually around 12.5%), with around 4 g/l of RS and 7.8 g/l acidity, with no oak.

The bright golden color of this Riesling is very intense such as the nose that offers a clean fragrant bouquet. The first smell goes on greedy ripe fruit and hints of fresh butter quickly balanced by floral aromas. The first sensation of the palate is lively and reveals a sharp freshness on delicate green apple and lime. Then it soften to give flavorsome white peach aromas. Very well balanced the finish is smooth and refreshing. For those who like to have a evolving palate, this wine will not let you down. — 7 years ago
Lovely vintage Riesling, not too sweet — 3 years ago
Golden yellow, on the nose lemongrass, Kaffir lime, limestone with a hint of effervescent. Medium++ dry with a great floral taste. Remarkable vale for such Riesling — 4 years ago
Zesty lime peel, spiced pear, and minerality. Vibrant tart green apples with limestone and sour lime punch with acidity driving the finish. Outstanding QPR. — 6 years ago
Probably the best Blaufränkisch I‘ve ever had!
Very deep & dense dark red, heavy viscosity.
Lots of purple fruit, a basket full of spices (black pepper, cinnamon, vanilla, herbal notes) and earthy notes (wet loamy soil).
High but smooth tannins, mouthwatering minerality, fine acidity, well integrated alcohol. Relatively dominant oak - needs much more time to integrate. Potential for two decades at least, with optimal drinking window starting at ~2020. — 8 years ago

Wildly different from the 2020 there was effervescence. It was so delicious, almost like a vinho verde. With minerality and light fruits — 6 months ago
