An intermezzo of sorts. I was spoiled with a small pour of this before we got into the Pegaü which was in desperate need of air. This was beguiling. Aromas of plums and teriyaki. Delicious red fruits on the palate. Quite a bit of grip. This is now my third Hubert Lignier experience and I think it’s safe to say that I’ve been positively hooked. This is the kind on Burgundy I want in my life. Sadly, my bank account won’t likely survive. Huge thanks to @Charles Ludwig for this treat. — 6 years ago
Nicely balanced semi sweet white with a great acidity to counter the residual sugar — 6 years ago
This wine brought us back to sitting in the lounge of the Schloss in Lieser Germany, along the Mosel, where we first tasted this it. Just like then, we couldn’t put our glass down. Who would have thought that this region known for their rieslings, would have such a robust Pinot noir. This 2018 Pinot noir was incredible - great body, and finish. — 3 years ago
I’m not into whites, but this is the best tasting, easiest going white I’ve ever had. It costs next to nothing so making a schorle doesn’t make you feel guilty and it’s just as tasty!! — a year ago
Nice fruity wine — 5 years ago
Hanging with Charlie. This was such a delight while we waited for the Pegaü to open up a bit. This started off with marzipan and green apples but after about an hour of air (and warming up a bit), it started to show toasted brioche. So much life and so much verve! What a treat!
