These were being run out at a bargain price in a Golding warehouse sale recently. The other bottles I opened were pretty rough and well past their prime. This one is notable because it was a very pleasant surprise: not just much more approachable than the others, but also a genuinely good pinot! It’s somewhat developed but still lively with soft, plummy fruit and whiffs of subtle, cedary oak. Thoroughly enjoyed this over three nights. — 7 years ago
