Villiera does a couple of things that can curl my toes. .. this is one superb example of a MCC that sends me into a drinking frenzy that usually ends with a call to the glass recycling guys to come and collect the empties. the only bad thing would be if you only by one bottle.... buy a case immediately. you will thank me later. — 11 years ago

Big juicy fruit on the nose with a touch of oaky notes. On the palate, that bright juicy fruit starts off followed by a slight floral bitterness. The oak is very subtle and well integrated, I hardly notice it and I'm pretty sensitive to oak, finishes with a slightly sweet maybe smokey chocolate note. Tannins we're fine and light, good balance of acidity, really smooth in general. Only complaint was the bitter note on the mid finish but overall a really nice wine and amazing for the price! — 4 years ago
