Del (means South) 2013 cuvee of Merlot, cab sauv, can franc, and little kekfrankos. Aged in small Hungarian medium toasted barrique for one year, then aged together in one large barrel for half year, then one year in bottle. Nose is a pretty mix of attributes of all four. Deep celler with spiller wine on the nose. The taste is fruit and dark at first, with lots of dark berries quickly followed up by a sourness and a lighter taste that finished with a little but of warmth. Very well integrated and no specific taste or fruit takes over. Nice for anything when you want a good deep red wine but not to heavy nor light — 5 years ago
