Full and dark - nose of black cherries, plums, licorice. Velvety tannins, uplifting acidity. A little simple but quite concentrated. Not bad. — 4 years ago

Incredible. We opened it and gently let in breath in bottle and glass for an hour. It was a stubborn little runt when first opened. After an hour the wine a softened and had great smoke and dry fruit. We want to have this again. — 11 years ago
Another good one...tasting at The San Francisco Wine Trading Co. — 13 years ago
This wine paired well with both barbacoa and mole poblano. Two different Mexican dishes that are often hard to pair with wine. The sweetness of the mole blended well with the fruitiness of the wine. — 4 years ago
Earthy, a bit of tannic finish but full bodied and smooth. Dried fruit peel, cigar — 5 years ago
An Orange Wine. Floral and Fruity. It’s like a halfway between a rich Chardonnay and Sherry. Perfect with Asian food or with full flavoured cheeses — 7 years ago
Love southern Italy. Even if the label is a bit odd. Tasty. — 9 years ago
Loved this wine! Dark chocolate and ripe fruit flavor. — 10 years ago
Rustic when first opened, lots of tannin. After an hour it was smooth, hints of dark fruit, some smoke, good mouthfeel. — 12 years ago
