In Modena last summer. — 10 years ago
First aglianico I've tried and it was a delight. Recommended by the sommelier at Vesuvio in Carmel. Soft tannins, smooth mouthfeel, plenty of fresh fruit but with lots of complexity. At a perfect place. Looking for more! — 10 years ago
Rustic when first opened, lots of tannin. After an hour it was smooth, hints of dark fruit, some smoke, good mouthfeel. — 10 years ago
Lambrusco last summer in Italy. Flavourful, fizzy, fun. First Lambrusco I've tried, recommended. Low alcohol was welcome. — 10 years ago
Still a big fruity wine. Probably can keep another 10 years easily. — 10 years ago
Nice little bubbly made with the traditional method. A nice change from Prosecco which is so fashionable right now. Tart, green apple-y, nice acid and a touch of biscuit but not too complex. Fun. — 10 years ago
Excellent wine with possibly the best meal our family has ever had. At Silvio Nikol in Vienna last summer. Drinking so smooth, like dream. — 10 years ago

Tannic, surprisingly light fruit nose, smooth finish. Should have decanted. — 10 years ago
