Delicious change of pace. Had it with a pizza and thought it was excellent. Dry, fruity, fizz, simple. — 9 months ago
With all these charcuterie plates you NEED to be drinking sparkling Lambrusco. — 2 years ago
Beautiful and full wine. 2011 — 6 years ago
Sea saltiness and tiny perlage on the tongue compliment the pink fruity strawberry nose and color. Perfect celebratory dry Lambrusco to punctuate my return from Italy and pair with a melange of classic Roman tapas and manicotti. — 8 months ago
Apparently I had this a few years ago. I still find it a delight. Toothsome, if wine is allowed to have that descriptor. Balsamic and not-sweet blackberry/fig jam. Enough weight and enough acid to keep it spritely. Omg love a good Lambrusco. It’s just the thing you need to bring some pizzazz without platitude sometimes. — a year ago
super light and flavorful, not punchy at all, almost champagne-buttery. — 4 years ago

This is a terrific Valpo. It doesn’t seem as weighty as those made from partially dried or super-ripe grapes, but neither is it as light as the old-school traditional Valpos were back in the 70s and 80s. It’s got a boisterous nose with lively, zingy ripe cherry, and nice hints of almond and twiggy underbrush. Rather electric in the mouth, with forceful but crackling, slightly bitter-tinged cherry fruit. Savory and stony on the long finish. Big acid drive. Some very fine-grained chalky tannin gives a teensy bit of scaffolding. Really fine, and a terrific value. — 3 hours ago
