Was worried this wine wasn't right, turns out something I was eating wasn't playing nice. Once my palate cleared I was able to get into the wine. Dark fruits, classic sangiovese characters throughout. Little sweet but pretty complex. Could use a little more tannin or acid. Would get again if I got it at the Trader Joe's price I did here. — 5 months ago

Color of gold. Nose of ripe tropical fruits, include banana, mango, and pineapple, tiny bit of salty, zesty, and spicy note, taste follows the nose with addition of nice acidity, good tangy flavors, nice sweetness mixes with salty note, and some more tropical fruits note. Aftertaste has more grapefruit plus skin, tinkling and refreshing. — 3 months ago

Dry with a clean finish. Festive, especially at the price ($10) — 5 months ago
Color of bright purple, nice legs. Nose of sweet currant, vanilla beans, and milky chocolate. Taste follows the note with really light tannin, a bit caramel and brown sugar. Easy to drink. After taste is clean with a bit more milky chocolate and zest. Nicely done. — 7 months ago

This wine has more of a yellow tint than I would expect from an unoaked Chardonnay. The nose is clean, though. Brilliant aromas of flowers, pears, peaches and apples come through with nary a trace of wood aging. The palate is rich and full, with fruit flavors dominating. Acidity is fresh and zippy, and nearly razor sharp. The fruit lasts on the finish and the wine is a perfect match for seafood, white sauce pasta or chicken.
