2009 vintage at Trullo in Islington. Pale ruby bright hue. On the nose, floral and red cherry profile, earthy and tar. Very good. On the palate, bright piercing acidity, medium plus alcohol, high slightly chalky tannins, medium minus body, medium plus concentration and finish. Good fruit. Still young but drinking early. Sweet on the tail end of the wine. Very moreish. Drink now until 2024. — 8 years ago
