We recently pulled some cases out of storage, which haven't seen the light of day for nearly 15 years, so I'll have some fun posts in the next several months.
Nose has dried blackberry, dried raspberry, ripe blackberry, ripe black cherry, dry oak plank, violets, old roses, medium-roast coffee beans and old milk chocolate bar.
Palate has ripe black cherry, ripe red currant, dried apricot, dried raspberry, ripe blackberry, moist soil, juiced peach, still chewy tannins with coffee and semi-sweet chocolate on the medium-long finish.
Decanted 2+ hours, pop & short decant for sediment on future bottles.
This bottle is in a great spot this evening, still many enjoyable years ahead. Future bottles may be 2023+ in proper storage, and yeah we have more. 😁 — 8 days ago

Bummer..... whilst we were thinking to get a final glass it was only the weight of the bottle in our hands......
It was empty too fast..... very very good glass of wine. Fruit, mocca, chocolate, integrated wood, very well balanced. Best to decant with a very fine sieve as it has a lot of fine sediment. — 2 days ago

Nose of honey, walnuts, curry powder, smokey, toasty oak, lemon cough drops.
Quite complex on the palate: lime, salt, honey, almond, white flowers, and some salty mineral bitterness with very good acidity.
Delicious and complex. Also love that it's in a 375 mL screw top. I need to drink more sherry. — 4 days ago
Halfway between an amontillado and an oloroso. Nice nose; nuts citrus and a salty sea breeze back end, with a richness on the palate. — 2 days ago
