Robert Parker...not seeing the 93. Was 10 bones at Costco, figured it's hard to go wrong. I think I was wrong though. Probably worth about $5. Slight fruity nose, mildly pleasant. Quickly turns bitter on the palate and disappears. Minor, inexpressive tannins. Blah.

Pretty tasty for less than $10. Let it open up. Lighter color. Cherry, raspberry, vanilla, chocolate, and nice spice to finish.

Fruity, smooth. Not very bold but opened up with a little more development. Not very complex, but good everyday drinker.

Slightly better than I remembered, probably due to pairing with richer food, but still not a 93 pointer. Nose of blackberries. Hits the palate with a sweetness followed by a little spice and a little chocolate. Seemed to lack body with absence of tannins. Maybe this just has a very short drinking window.

Exceptionally smooth, great flavour. Zero aftertaste. My first Toro, and a great impression for a Monday night vino.
