All with celebrating our engagement. Last of the two Chardonnays from Hand of Fate Wines. Love both areas just like Adriaan and Lara! Light golden yellow with a well rounded and balanced nose. A little toasty on the nose with creme, lemon curd and zest, provenance herbs, and white floral notes. Love the complexity and layers. Medium acidity (6/10) and medium to medium plus bodied. A nice amount of richness with notes of honeysuckle, oak, buttery, stone and citrus fruits but a bit zesty. Long and lingering finish with a bit of minerality. Drink till 2023. — 6 years ago

First of the two Chardonnays from Hand of Fate Wines. Love both areas just like Adriaan and Lara! Medium pale yellow with a well rounded nose. Layered nose with a bit of creaminess from the lees, honeysuckle, white flowers, and a touch toasty. Medium acidity (6/10) and medium bodied. Quite a bit of citrus and stone fruit on the attack of the palate with a bit of butterscotch in the mid palate before a long and gravelly finish. Drink till 2022. — 6 years ago
