From the Mount Lofty Ranges in the Adelaide Hills. Medium ruby color. Tart red fruit and violet aromas. The palate features ripe cherry and cranberry flavors with hints of black pepper, black olives and dried herbs. Touch of poblano pepper. Medium-plus oaky finish and dusty and drying tannins. Still young and red fruit forward- would still leave for another 5 years for more tertiary development. Small amount of tabbaco and forest floor on mid-palate..integrates tannins. Want nicely with a good hanger steak. — 5 years ago
