Pale straw/gold, with crustals on the cork; tart apple (not surprising given the crystals) and baking spice in the nose; full, silky mouthfeel with sour apple predominating; decent finish given this is a ‘22 being drunk in April ‘24, lingering puckery tart notes. Had with pasta and homemade marinara, the body and tartness stood up well. — 9 months ago

Deep ruby in color; smoke, cigar box, and black cherries on the nose; medium acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like hibiscus, cherries, plums, and a little eucalyptus with a long finish. I didn't think I would like this wine based on the aromas, but I am really enjoying it. — 8 months ago
