Snake River AVA is hot AF. The wines remind me of Paso. That said, as wth Paso, there are some good wines to be had, especially if you can put them down for a bit to soften. Koenig is the shining example of the AVA and when you want a burley tannic wine to pair with a fatty charred rib eye, this works. Better with age. — 4 years ago
Pale lemon in color.
Strong nose of citrus, lemons, yellow and red apples, minerals, light diesel, white pepper and sea salt.
Medium bodied with high acidity. Crisp and refreshing.
Dry to off dry on the palate with lemons, apples, pears, pineapples, spices, diesel, minerals and light earth.
Long tangy finish with limes and spices.
This is a delicious Riesling from Alsace. Tangy and bright. Showing nice complexity with a spicy aftertaste.
Tasty and enjoyable by itself or with food. Would pair nicely with spicy foods. Sushi comes to mind.
This would be interesting to try in 5 years.
Delicious and tangy.
12% alcohol by volume. Kosher. Mevushal.

We are members at this winery... I know... Idaho is still figuring out how to do wine, but this wine is a bit-o-alright! Every other month we make the drive to the winery to pick up our allocation. While there is no restaurant at the winery, you are allowed to bring a picnic lunch. Sitting inside or outside with a picnic lunch and w a tasting that comes free w membership is delightful! Staff is so pleasant, and the winery has remained open (with restrictions) during this time of Covid . We like the experience, and THAT’s why we are members. We were willing to put up w mediocre wine for the EXPERIENCE. But, hey, this wine definitely surpasses mediocre! — 4 years ago
