Snake River AVA is hot AF. The wines remind me of Paso. That said, as wth Paso, there are some good wines to be had, especially if you can put them down for a bit to soften. Koenig is the shining example of the AVA and when you want a burley tannic wine to pair with a fatty charred rib eye, this works. Better with age.
