Super interesting. Not as acidic and complex. Beautiful on the nose. Straddling between orange and white. — 20 days ago

A lusciously beautiful blend of Cabernet Sauvignon from multiple vintages; 2019, 2021 and 2022 produced night medley aromas of red fruits and spices. Rounded tannins, solid but not so punchy, and well-balanced on the mid-palate with silky texture and finish. Simply lovely! — 11 days ago
Nose presents baking spices and a touch of soft brown sugar. Palate is dense and layered, as usual for this producer (before the winery changed hands the first time around). Notes of coffee, tobacco and maple syrup come through on the mid palate. Nice tannin/acidity combination complete what is a classic BV presentation. Drink these within the 24 months. This winery has been on the slide ever since Ed Snyder and team departed. I tasted some of the 18’s and 19’s and they were a mere shadow of the previous product.

Wow - this is an incredible Sicilian wine. — 14 days ago
Blend of blend of 60% Carricante, 25% Catarratto, 10% Grecanico and 5% Minnella, aged in French oak for 10 months. Pale lemon with aromas of stone and citrus fruits adding honeysuckle blossom. On the palate flavors of apple, apricot and lemon citrus with creamy vanilla wrapped in generous acidity, long finish ending with wet stone minerality. Nice! — 2 days ago
We had the 2012 Vintage on 11/3-4/24. A nice Old World Bordeaux. BlackBerry, plum and spice on the palate. Tannins smoothed out. Full bodied and well balanced. — 20 days ago

2021 vintage. Hints of richness throughout but never a safe space. Ultimately lean with a massive tannic howdoyoudo but always balanced. This wine will challenge most palates to the moon and beyond. Pretty phenomenal for QPR, yet so distinctive, thinking the general wine public needs a solid two decades to grasp. Screams for food except for the cork dorks that would gobble this up 8 days a week. Oh Sicily! 11.20.24. — 3 days ago
