Garnet with rim variation turning brick/terracota, corn on the cob, dill, molasses. — 10 years ago
Raspberry, cherry, pepper, a little dried tobacco and herbs on the nose.
On the palate, strawberry leather, raspberry coulis, with star anise and touch of terracota clay on the finish. Satiny texture without being overpowering — med + body but lithe.
Enjoyed with steak in salsa verde marinade w potatoes and mushrooms.
I really enjoyed this one, but me more than Greg.

Don't know how Delectable would do this. Winner of this year's Young Guns of Wine, Dormilona wines' new releases. From left to right:
2016 Clayface Pet Nat: Chenin. In typical Dormilona Clayface manner, fermented in amphora terracota pots. Wild ferment. No sulphur, fining, or filtration.
2016 Skinnie: Stunning skinnie made of Sauv Blanc. Again, fermented in amphora. Aged in amphora and barrel (old?). Battonage. Minimal sulphur. A smart and most importantly, delicious orange.
2016 Chenin Blanc: Oh wow! Seriously gotta have more Chenin from the Margaret. Gotta love the creaminess leesiness minerality length of this wine.
2016 Rosado: Rosé from Tempranillo. Solid! Though it didn't really stand out in this crowd.

A savory red blend from Pessac-Léognan, 70% Merlot and 30% Cab Sauv and since it is aged more than 50% of the Merlot on terracota amphorae the tannins are as silky and gentle as it can get. Velvety and fresh mouthfeel. Already started to pick its prime time. Drinking now or within the next 3 years will just as great! — a month ago
