2020 vintage. Teneral Cellars, Estate Mourvèdre, Wilderotter Vineyard, Amador County. Extremely light colour, looks like a Jura Trousseau, surprising for Mourvèdre, due to a very soft pressing. Beautiful nose with delicate red fruit (raspberries, strawberries), roses and subtle spices. Very elegant and velvety, light on its feet without being thin. A very nice surprise. Abv. 13,9%. Great value for California standards, 39 dollars on the website — a year ago
So good! I’ve been saving this one for a special occasion, and my birthday seemed great. Deliciously jammy Zinfandel with notes of cherry or plum. Extremely smooth finish. One of my favorites! — 4 years ago

Beautiful label. Has a rainbow heart. Dark as night color. This is lovely true to type Petite Sirah. Pretty smokey on the back end. Dry, dry tannins. Hint savory. Dense. Bit of black licorice. Berry too. Concentrated. This is nice stuff. — a month ago
