'M' Riesling 2021

Rieslings from around the world tasting. My first Riesling from new zeland was incredible. This was the cheapest of the tasting but voted the best. I normally hate strong petroleum notes but it was integrated with the fruit and other flavors so well. Old vines, organic, and biodynamic vineyard. — 7 months ago

Single Vineyard 5182 Marlborough Chardonnay

A step up from their standard Pinot. This is the Single Vineyard 5182 Pinot Noir. Certified organic and named NZ Winery of the year in 2014. Home to the oldest Pinot vines in the region in Marlborough better know for the massive amounts of Sauvignon Blanc produced there. Aromatic in the red fruit spectrum with notes of cherry and a hint of raspberry. Silky tannins - a quality wine I will seek out back in Oz. With only 11 hectares there is not much to go around. — 8 years ago

Marlborough Chardonnay

Refreshing acidity and structure amongst some CA chards from earlier. Oak felt a little heavy handed but my expectations might have been skewed (re: Marlborough Sauv. b.). — 9 years ago

Marlborough Rosé Blend 2020

Refreshing! Peach nose, nectarine on the forefront with a melange of other fruits like watermelon and strawberry in the background. Layered and a great summer wine! — 3 years ago

Light and aromatic - raspberries, black tea leaves, almonds and touch of cyanide? Good for 25$. From K & L. — 7 years ago

Crispy sour green apples, great zippy acidity...went great with my spicy Chinese fatty pork. Nice display of the terroir of New Zealand. — 10 years ago
