This Cabernet, from an unnamed famous vineyard in Napa Valley is drinking beautifully! Just tasted again we are blown away by its grace and balance, it’s broad and sassy character and it’s amazing large yet restrained presence. Such a treasure... it’s a shame it’s sold out.

A friend brought this 2017 Pinot to go with sushi which it did beautifully. Silky finish. Really easy to drink. Loved it. Surprised to see it was 14.8% alcohol. — a month ago
Nicely developed, spice and fruit intermix with earthy deliciousness. Still in harmony and balance. — 2 years ago
Drinking the 2005 vintage in 2018. I love finding the 10+ yr old Talisman vintages. They all drink amazingly well and have great character that can’t be compared to the young Pinots. One of my favorites! — 6 years ago
much brighter and more feminine than expected for a RRV pinot — 7 years ago

Unbelievable wine. Wow. The rest is decanting but sipping the first PNP. Gorgeous carnelian and brick. Great nose full of round and juicy black cherries, blackberries, lavender, restrained fresh uncut strawberries, hint of field herbs and dried leaves and dried mushroom. Then it’s a velvet glove in your mouth- literally a super seductive velvet mouth feel. Elegant. Balanced with layers of dark fresh uncandied cherry, rhubarb and dark skinned plums. This is followed by mild Forrest floor and a hint of fallen tree woodiness, lending its mild integrated tannin as the structure for a long finish of dark red raspberries and cherries with a hint of tartness. Burgundian to the nth degree. Hats off, knee down. Phenomenal work. — 4 years ago

Nice delicate supple soft Pinot. Cherry, plum, berry jam with notes of tobacco and woodsy light earth. A little peppery. Great balance and easy drinking. Very impressed. — 16 days ago
