Pale lemon with aromas of citrus and tropical fruits. Unique Sauvignon Blanc with nutty toasty character wrapped in oak and complex fruit, mango, lemon and melon. Slight earthiness with a smooth and creamy well balanced finish ending with a gentle citrus and yeasty character. Tasting Sample. — 5 years ago

Much more about pepper and liquorice than fruit. Very tasty. — 11 years ago
Star bright pale yellow with just a hint of beige (from the barrel). Heavenly nose of grapefruit rind and fines herbes. Medium light palate gives the same adding flinty mineral, green apple, and balsa wood all buttressed by moderate, tingly acidity from entry to medium finish. Solidly Marlborough with French finesse, this is what NZ SB aspires to be. Well balanced for sipping or with a surprisingly wide range of meals. Seafood and greens are at the top of the list. Could hold for a year or so, but drink now for optimal experience. — a year ago
Very complex and aromatic: Passionfruit, white grapefruit, tomato leaf. Savory with a great mouthfeel. — 8 years ago

Clear, dark ruby. Abundant nose of cherry lozenges and the coating on marzipan. Echoed on the medium palate which adds juicy blackberry, bright acidity, and "just enough" medium minus tannins. Finish is moderately long and continues the palate in a slightly darker mode. An excellent example of NZ Pinot Noir that's ready for any dish you can throw at it. Seafood, poultry, roast pork, and of course American Thanksgiving. Drink now. — a month ago
