Vivio Vineyard! Bennett Valley! What fun that is fond of the Old World. In other worlds it gloriously is subdued on the fruit but still ripe and also there is the value of the acid and alcohol it feeeeels like Old and tastes like...both. Fabulous. It is here AND there and happy about it. Has had several years to cheer up may keep aging but guzzle now if you feel it.
Actually this may be the wine to please everyone at the party: enough ripeness and easy interpretation for fruit punch palates and balance and sophistication for all. — 5 years ago

Love the Sosie! Watermelons and white peppercorns that almost feel floral all dance. Beautifully rich pink with an herbal undertow and hint of bitter. Pretty perfect pink one. — 5 years ago

It’s so hot and just one of Cab f’s selling points (to me) is a tiny tiny chill on it is pleasant. Albeit the informational sheet on it suggest a 2 hour decant. But I’m finding an hour shows the bear coming out of his cave. I feel the dried fruits but they are laced with balsamic and spices and the oak is there but not ostentatious. This wine will walk you home (or at least to your Uber) at the end of the night. — 5 years ago
