Tart. But fresh and charming. 2014 — 9 months ago
The 2013 Smith Haut Lafitte probably has one over the Domaine de Chevalier at the moment: a little more fruit and amplitude, certainly more delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins, one of the spiciest Pessac-Léognan wines, yet there is just a scintilla of under-ripeness right on the finish. But at least there's personality in situ. Tasted at Bordeaux Index's 10-Year On tasting. (Neal Martin, Vinous, August 2023)

So surprising and interesting! Definitely worth getting for summer months. Can taste the muscat but it’s lovely and dry and very balanced. — a year ago
Barossa Chardonnay mixed with Adelaide hills Pinot on skins amazing cloudy orange colour, surely whole bunch. Tastes like a Chardonnay to me but with that crazy pale orange. Natural wine so I read, delicious. 11.7%, no sulphides, dry long finish, just right acidity, citrus with a hint of strawberry/pear something? — 4 years ago
Earthy, cocoa, chalky and a scintilla of spice. — 5 years ago

Drinking well. Lovely nose of crushed rose petals and a hint of grilled meat and scintilla of tobacco. A touch dry on the palate but otherwise smooth and a nice long lasting finish — 3 months ago
